o-o seems mean to call it "lighting for dummies" XD but hey I like the "for dummies" books.

Anywho just a quick tutorial on indoor lighting. I tried to make it easy to follow, but I myself am not very good with indoor light...course with daylight savings time I imagine most of my shoots will be done at night OTL woe is me...

I didn't wanna get too much into camera settings, ISO and such so, if you wanna know more about it and how it works then well....google is your friend XD Also please excuse any typos in the tutorial...theres a lot I know but uhhhh I got distracted while writing this > >;;

I would also like to thank Mir for being such a great sport and putting up with me while I photographed him m(_ _)m thank you Mir for not falling over...and thank you =onnawufei for letting me exploit him 8D

EDIT: And just a bit of advice from the darling *lulufae 8D because I forgot to add the info~

"About the paper over the lamp thing, if you're using anything over a 40W bulb, that paper's gonna get MIGHTY scorchy MIGHTY fast, and leaving dolls under that kind of heat for long periods (depends on the doll what a long period is) will make them floppy and loose strung, so maybe do the trickier poses FIRST, before they turn into a puddle of happy, warm resin and elastic."

Yeah...the home made diffuser might be a bit of a fire hazard so just keep that in mind :3

Love it! With photo lighting equipment costing an arm and a leg in shops, this improvised system works like a charm (given that I'm using an ol' dingy Canon Powershot A95 for my dorrie photos to boot XD).

This is a very great and simple tutorial! Thanks for making it and I will definatly keep these things in mind as I'm very restricted to my room for photos ^^

Thank you very much for this. I set up a shoot in my home and it took less then 15 minutes. Suddenly I was taking more professional photos, and I am so happy!
